     Squash Casserole

Ingredients
2 cups cooked squash
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
1 cup package herb stuffing mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 
cream of chicken soup, optional
Instructions
Mash cooked squash finely, blend all ingredients except cheese.
Place in a greased casserole dish; top with shredded cheese.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
