to make meatballs, mix all ingredients in a bowl by hand, roll 2 tablespoons of mixture inyo balls.
heat oil in a large saucepan. add onion,garlic and bacon. cook, stirring occasionall, over a medium heat until onion is soft. add carrot,soup and stock. boil. add pasta. reduce heat and gently boil, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
add peas and meatballs to the minestrone. simmer, covered, for further 5 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
