Ingredients
2 quarts apple cider
3/4 to 1 cup lemon juice from concentrate
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
8 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
3/4 cup rum
additional cinnamon sticks, optional
 

Instructions
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except rum and additional cinnamon sticks;bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
Remove spices; add rum just before serving. Serve hot with cinnamon sticks if desired. Can be served cold.
