      RUM CAKE

Ingredients
1 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS
1PACKAGE OF YELLOW CAKE MIX (18.25 OUNCE)
1/2 CUP DARK RUM
4 EGGS
1/2 CUP WATER
1/2 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
1 (3.5 OUNCE) PACKAGE INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING MIX
1/4 CUP BUTTER
1/2 CUP WHITE SUGAR
 
1/8 CUP WATER
1/4 CUP DARK RUM

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour pan. Sprinkle walnuts to the bottom of the pan.
Mix together the yellow cake mix, 1/2 cup of dark rum, eggs 1/2 cup of cold water, cooking oil and instant pudding. Pour batter over the nuts.
Bake for 1 hour. Cook, invert in a serving plate and prick the top
To make glaze: Melt butter in asaucepan. Stir in 1/8 cup water and sugar. Boil for 5 min, stirring constantly. Remove mixture from heat and stir in rum. Drizzle and smooth glaze evenly over the top and sides of cake
