Preheat the oven to 160c/gas mark 3. Grease & line 2 a large baking tray. In a pan melt the choc & butter over a low heat. Remove from the heat to cool.

Beat the eggs & sugars for 3mins until pale & creamy. Gradually beat in the choc mixture. Beat in the flour, cocoa powder & vanilla essence. Add the nuts, choc chips & chunks.

|
Drop 4-6 heaped spoonfuls of the mixture on to each baking tray 4ins apart & flatten. Bake for 10mins or until the the tops are shiny & cracked and the edges look crisp.

|
Leave to cool on the baking tray for 2mins before removing onto the wire racks.
