     Pecan Meltaways

Ingredients
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
additional confectioners sugar
 
Instructions
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans.
Chill; Roll into 1-in balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar while still warm. Cool; roll in sugar again.
