     roasted potatoes and asparagus

Ingredients
2 tsp olive oil, divided
1/4 tsp salt, divided
1/8 tsp thyme
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
6 small potatoes, quartered
1/2 lb asparagus spears
 

Instructions
preheat oven to 450
combine 1 tsp oil, 1/8 tsp sale, thyme, peppers and potatoes in an 11x7 baking dish coated with cooking spray. bake for 20 min, stirring occassionally. Stir in 1/2 tsp garlic.
snap off tough ends of asparagus. combine 1 tsp oil, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp gralic and asparagus. add asparagus mixture to dish.
bake for 10 min until asparagus is tender-crisp
