     Chicken & Rice Casserole

Ingredients
1 stick butter
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice (not Minute)
1-2 lbs cut up chicken
Kitchen Bouquet (or mixture of wouc. sauce & garlic powder)
2 cups water (optional bouillon)
 

Instructions
Melt butter in 3 qt pyrex oblong baking dish. Stir rice in. Brush chicken pieces with Kitchen Bouquet. Pour at least 1 cup bouillon/water on rice and stir. Place chicken on top of rice. Sprinkle soup on top of chicken. Pour rest of bouillon over chicken, lifting chicken so water can seep into rice.
Cover & bake 1 1/2 hours at 350.
Serving Suggestions
can add small vegetables, like broccoli or carrots.
