     Frosted Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
1 1/2 C. powdered sugar
1 C. margarine; softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 egg
2 1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
 
Creamy Vanilla Frosting
3 C. powdered sugar
1/3 C. margarine; softened
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
about 2 Tlbs. milk

Instructions
For Cookies: Mix powdered sugar, margarine, vanilla, almond extract and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients except granulated sugar. Cover and refergerate at least 2 hours. Grease cookie sheet lightly. Divide dough in half. Roll each half 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake 7-8 minutes at 375. Frost when cool
For Frosting: Mix powdered sugar and margarine. Stir in vanilla and milk. Beat until smooth and of spreading consistency
