1 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk (2 Tbls. lemon juice or vingar per 1 c. milk)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
4 tsp. melted butter or vegetable oil
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Instructions
Beat together till smooth. Spoon onto greased hot griddle. Flip over when bubbles appear. Cost about $.35/dozen. I double the recipe and freeze leftovers. When needed, put into toaster and serve.
