     Brownies

Ingredients
2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 cups all-purpose flour (1 to 1/2)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup walnut halves
 
Icing
1/2 cups + 1tbs butter (no substitutes), softened
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2/3 cup + 2tsp baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk (+tsp??)

Instructions
Preheat Oven to 350ºF
For Brownies: Melt butter, then mix in all ingredients in the order given. Pour into a 9"x13" greased pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes
For Icing: In a large mixing bowl, cream butter. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar, cocoa and vanilla. Add enough milk until frosting reaches spreading consistency.
Let brownies cool before frosting.
