     Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
1 cup soft shortening (part butter)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups sifted flour
2 tsps cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbls sugar
 
2 tsps cinnamon

Instructions
Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift together dry ingrediants and stir in to moist ingre. Roll into balls the size of walnuts and roll in cinnamon and sugar mix. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned about 8 - 10 min. Temp 400 degrees.
