     Beer Cheese Soup

Ingredients
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
3-1/2 c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
1 c. beer
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Few drops Tabasco
 

Instructions
Saute onion & garlic over medium-high heat. Add flour; mix well. Cook until hot & bubbly.
Add milk; cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Cook 5-10 minutes until Velveeta cheese melts.
Serve with popcorn or croutons.
