2 cups cooking apples peeled and cut into 1 1/2 inch slices
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp cinamon
1/2 cup nuts chopped (roasted if possible)
salt to taste
Instructions
Mix together butter, sugar, nuts and cinamon reserving 1 TB butter. In a baking pan layer squash then drizzle some of butter mixture, layer apples, drizzle more and repeat layers Dot the top with the remaining butter.
Cover and bake at 350 for 45 to 60 minutes or until squash and apples are soft.
