     Baked Potato Casserole

Ingredients
1 - 2 pound frozen hash browns
6 Tablespoons margarine
1 small onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
TOPPING:
 
2 Tablespoons margarine
2 cups crushed rice cereal
Bacon bits
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Saute onions in 6 Tablespoons margarine. Mix together potatoes, sour cream, soup, cheese and mayonnaise; add onions and margarine. Pour into large greased casserole; top with cereal and margarine, which has been combined (mixture will be crumbly). Sprinkle with bacon bits; bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until browned.
