Cook onion in small amount of oil until tender but not brown. Add meat and seasonings; brown lightly. Add drained beans and soup; pour into large greased casserole. Mash potatoes while hot; add milk, egg, salt and pepper. Drop in mounds over meat; bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
