Bring to boil raisins and water. Shut off heat; cover and cool. DO
NOT DRAIN OFF LIQUID.

Cream together sugar and oleo. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together
flour, soda and salt; add to cream mixture.

Add nuts to raisin/water mixture; mix well. Add to cream mixture.
|
|
|
Pour onto a large ungreased cookie sheet (or one 13x9x2 and 2 9-inch
pans). Bake at 325 for 45 minutes. Cover with 10x sugar glaze.
