     Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie

Ingredients
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup light corn syrup
1 Tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 heaping cup pecan meats
1 unbaked pie shell
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine ingredients in order given; mix well.
Pour into an unbaked pie shell; bake 5 minutes. Reduce heat after 5 minutes to 300 degrees; continue to bake for 1 hour, or until filling is thick. Cool on wire rack. Serve at room temperature.
