     Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
3 Tablespoons flour
Pinch of salt
1 cup white Karo
3 eggs
1 Tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans
 

Instructions
Mix sugar, flour and salt; add Karo, eggs, butter and vanilla. Place pecans in an unbaked pie shell; pour mixture over them. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
OPTIONAL: May substitute 2 teaspoons of rum for vanilla.
