     Economical Taco Pie

Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup yellow corn meal
3 ounces French's fried onions, crushed
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 cup water
1 pound hamburger
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
1 can whole kernal corn, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 
1 medium chopped tomatoe

Instructions
Heat overn to 375 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine flour, corn meal and french friend onions. Add butter and 1/4 cup water. Stir until dough holds together. Press in bottom and up sides of ungreased 9 inch pie pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
In large skillet, brown meat and drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix and 3-4 cup water. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until liquid is reduced.
Stir in corn, and cool until thoroughly heated.
Spread mixture into baked crust. Top with lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream
