     Apple Streusel Cake

Ingredients
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup chopped apples
1 cup sliced almonds, pecans or walnuts
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp butter, melted
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
 
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp banilla extract
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 1/2 tsp orange juice

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a bundt pan. For streusel, Combine brown sugar, apples, almonds, flour and cinnamon. Stir in medlted butter. Set aside.
Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda - mix well. Beat butter and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each. Add vanilla. Mix on low, alternately beating flour mixture and orange juice into egg mixture. Spoon half of batter into pan. Sprinkle with half of streusel.
Sppon remaining batter over streusal, making even layer. Swirl batter with knife to create a marble pattern. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove cake, sprinkle with remaining streusal. Return cake to oven and bak until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.
Combine powdered sugar and orange juice - Mix well. Turn cake out onto a serving plate. Invert so streusal is on top. Drizzle glaze over cake and serve.
