     Shrimp Masala

Ingredients
1 lb shrimp,deveined cleaned, no shell
1 onion, chopped
1 Tbsp ground ginger
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
1.5 Tbsp chili powder
Less than 1/2 Tbsp Turmeric powder
1/2 Tbsp Salt
3 tomaotes, chopped
1/2 cup water
 
1/2 cup cilantro
serano peppers optional for spice

Instructions
Fry in oli the onion,ginger, and garlic on low/medium heat. Add the chili powder,turmeric and salt. Add the tomatoes and fry.
Add the water. With the flame on low, put the lid on. Keep stirring until the tomatoes are gone.
Fry the shrimp on medium until there is no water. Put the flame on low and let simmer 15 minutes. Add cilantro and peppers if desired.
