     Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients
2 Cups Milk
1 3/4 Cups Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Salt
2 Cups Evaporated Milk
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
4 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
4 Cups Pureed Strawberries
 

Instructions
NOTE- This recipe is for a four quart ice cream maker. Cut in half for 2 quarts.
Scald milk until it bubbles around the edges. Remove from heat. Add sugar and salt and stir until dissolved. Stir in evaporated milk, vanilla and whipping cream. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Add pureed strawberries. Pour mixture into maker and follow maker directions.
Serving Suggestions
Chopped strawberries can be added to last few minutes of mixing.
