1/2 cup cornstarch, mixed with 1 cup of cold water
Instructions
Steam brocolli until tender (can cook in microwave on high for 6 minutes per lb.)
Place half and half, water, cheese, salt and pepper into your crockpot liner bowl and place into microwave. Heat and stir about every 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
Add brocolli to soup. Heat a few more minutes.
Add cornstarch mixture and heat for another 3 minutes or so. Remove and place crockpot liner into crockpot and keep on high until it reaches desired thickness, then turn to low or turn off.
