     Oatmeal with Flax and Fruit - CrockPot

Ingredients
1 ½ cups evaporated skim milk
1 cup water
3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ cup fat free maple-flavored pancake syrup
½ cup ground flax seed
1 cup quick oats
1 cup cored, peeled, chopped cooking apples
¼ cup raisins or diced dates
 
¼ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions
Spray a slow cooker with butter-flavored cooking spray. Pour evaporated milk and water into the prepared container. Stir in Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, and syrup. Add oats, apples, raisins, and walnuts. Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Mix well before serving. Enjoy as is or serve with skim milk.
