Melt the marshmallows (leaving 5 aside) and butter in a large pot over med. heat, stirring frequently- don't overcook. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.
Let stand for five minutes, then pour mixture over popcorn in a large mixing bowl and stir well. Butter palms well, then form five large and five smaller balls of popcorn. Place one small ball ontop of a large one.
Use the frosting to stick a cookie to the head of each snowman and a marshmallow to the top of that to create a hate. Cut a string of fruit rollup into a small strip and wrap around the marshmallow. Add two mms for the eyes and one for the nose and 2 more for buttons. Create a smile with the frosting. Then tie a piece of shoestring liccorice around his neck for a scarf.
