Slice onions and brown them slowly in butter. Remove from pan. Brown hamburger until it crumbles. Combine the onions and hamburger together.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, and worcestershire sauce. Add 2 teaspoons chili powder or more. Add chili beans and simmer for 2 hours. Add water if necessary
Serve with sour cream, sharp cheddar cheese, olives and peppers if you like.....
