     portaobello mushroom fries.

Ingredients
2 portobello mushrooms
1 cup panko bred crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
4 tbsp. vegatable oil
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
 

Instructions
clean off mushrooms with damp towel. slice mushrooms into 1/2 inch pieces. mix milk and the egg in a shallow bowl.
mix panko bread crumbs and all the spices and mix in a shallow bowl. add vegetable oil to medium skillet over medium heat. dip the mushrooms into the egg mixture and then into the bread crumbs. coat evenly. then add the mushroom slices to the oil.
cook until all sides are golden brown aprox. 3 minutes per side
