250g Self Raising Flour
200g Caster Sugar
200g Soft Margarine/Butter
4 Eggs
1 tablespoon baking powder
Topping of choice
Strawberry Jam

First measure weigh out ingredients. Cream together sugar and butter until you can't hear the sugar at the bottom of the bowel. Then mix the flour and eggs together with the creamed sugar and butter.
Then fold the mixture evenly into two cake tins. Place in oven at 180C and bake for 20-25minutes.
Let the cake cool down. Once the cake is cooled, place one layer of the cake on a plate and spread strawberry jam over the top, place the top layer ontop of the bottom layer.
Add a few drops of water to your icing sugar and mix, glace the top of the cake with the icing. Then add the topping of your choice.
Serving Suggestions
Have it with a good cup of tea or coffee.
