Cut 3 inch pocket in each slice of bread, cutting through top crust. Mix cream cheese, pecans and marmalade. Spread 1 Tbsp cream cheese in each pocket. Mix eggs, sugar, orange peel, orange juice and vanilla.
Dip bread into mixture, coating both sides. Heat 1 Tbsp butter in skillet in med-low heat. Cook about 1 and half minutes on each side until golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with syrup.
