     Sweet Pepper Salmon

Ingredients
1/2 cup whole smoked almonds
large zip-top bag
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon garlic pepper seasoning
12oz thawed salmon fillet
cooking spray
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
 

Instructions
please almonds in food processor until the size of coarse bread crumbs. Add chili powder, paprika and garlic pepper, shake to mix
Prehead large saute pan on medium 2-3 minutes. Coast salmon with cooking spreay; place in zip-top bag. Seal bag tighlt and shake (or press fingertips) to evenly coat salmon.
Coat pan with cooking spray. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until fish becomes opaque and seperates easily with a fork. Cook time may vary depending on thickness of the salmon.
Remove salmon from pan. Add syrup and soy sauce to pan; simmer 1-2 minutes until sauce begins to thicken. Serve sauce over salmon.
