2 cups chopped dark chocolate You can use pieces, 60 percent or higher cocoa
2 semi sweet or dark chocolate bars , 60 percent or higher cocoa
1 teaspoon corn syrup
cocoa powder
chopped nuts
toasted coconut
powdered sugar
Instructions
Bring the cream to a simmer in a small saucepan. Add the butter and stir until melted. Add chocolate to the saucepan. Stir until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and pour the chocolate mixture into a shallow dish. Cool, cover and refrigerate until firm, at least two hours.
Roll into 1 inch balls. Dip each in melted chocolate. You can melt in the microwave, with corn syrup, just watch it carefully. Roll each ball in desired coating.
