2. BEAT- shortening and PB, until well blended
3. ADD- egg, milk , and vanilla- beat well
4. STIR- Flour, baking soda, and salt (in separate small bowl)
5. ADD - small bowl ingredients to large bowl (peanut butter etc.)
6. SHAPE- 1 inch balls and roll in sugar
7. BAKE- 6 minutes
8. IMMEDIATLY- Put kisses in baked cookies before they cool
