Combine sugar, butter and milk in large saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a rapid boil and let boil one minute.
Remove from heat, add vanilla and peanut butter. Mix until peanut butter is melted.
Stir in the oats, until slightly stiff and you are able to touch mixture without burning.
Drop by teanspoonsfuls onto wax paper, let cool on counter or in fridge.
