     French Toast

Ingredients
6-8 pieces of texas toast or white bread- or 3-4 pieces of thick sliced french bread
1/4 cup milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Butter or pan spray
 

Instructions
Preheat flat skillet to medium heat. Spray with pan spray or melt 2 tablespoons butter on skillet.
Beat eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a shallow dish.
Slice bread if needed. Dip each side of the bread in the egg mixture. Make sure it soaks up a good amount of the mixture. Allow excess to drip back into the dish.
Brown each piece of french toast on the flat skillet. If making more than one batch, put toasted pieces in the oven on 200 degrees to keep warm.
