     Shounak's Indian Chicken Curry

Ingredients
2 lbs Boneless Chicken diced
1 cup Plain Yogurt
1/4 Stick Butter
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Curry Powder
1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
1 cup Chopped Onions
1 tsp Garlic/Ginger Paste
1 tsp Oil
 
Fresh Cilantro and Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions
Marinate Chicken pieces in yogurt, turmeric, curry, and garlic/ginger paste for at least one hour.
In a thick sauce pan heat oil and saute onions until brown. Add tomatoes and stir until thickened. Add chicken stiring occasionally.
Add butter to chicken and water if you want a thinner sauce. Optional- add chili powder
Once chicken cooked completely,serve. Garnish with cilantro and lemon wedges.
Serving Suggestions
Serve over hot rice or with hot naan.
