     Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients
1/2 box spaghetti
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1 cup low fat cottage cheese
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 pound ground meat
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
 
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain. Stir butter or margarine into hot spaghetti. Stir in parmesan cheese and eggs. Form spaghetti into a crust in a pie plate. Spread cottage cheese over bottom of spaghetti crusst.
In skillet cook ground meat, garlic, onion and green pepper until vegetables are tender and meat is browned. Drain off excess fat. Stir in jar of spaghetti sauce. Stir in oregeno. Pour mixture onto spaghetti crust. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle on mozzarella cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer until melted. Let pie sit for 5 to 10 minutes to allow slices to be firm.
