     Shortcake Parisienne

4 croissants, thawed and split
1 pint strawberry
1 tbsp sugar
2 cup whipped topping

Heat croissants, cool. Combine berries and sugar, let stand 30 minutes. Before serving, spoon 2/3 berries on croissant bottoms. Top with whipped topping saving 1/2 cup. Replace tops and garnish with remaining berries and whipped topping.
