     Beer-in-the-Rear Chicken

Instructions
Buy whole frying-size chicken. Rub the chicken with olive oil and sprinkle on rosemary, garlic and thyme (inside and out). Place slice of onion, apple, or celery in cavity of the chicken. Open a can of light beer (removing tab and opening one or two additional holes) and insert can of beer upright into cavity of the chicken; place upright on grill and baste with saucce about 30 minutes before done. Or place into oven, upright in shallow pan at 325 fro 2 hours or until done.
