     Salad - Macaroni Fruit Salad

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups Acino De Pepe macaroni
2 large cans pineapple tidbits
1 large can mandarin oranges
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp flour
2 eggs slightly beaten
8 oz tub cool whip
 

Instructions
Cook macaroni, rinse and drain. Drain fruit, but save the juice from only ONE can pineapple and ONE can mandarin oranges. Do not save the juice from the second can of pineapple. Refrigerate all the drained fruit.
Mix juice with sugar, flour and eggs. Cook until thick. Pour over macaroni. Refrigerate overnight.
Next day, mix fruit, macaroni, and cool whip. (I use about 2/3 of the cool whip.) Chill.
This recipe makes quite a bit for a large group. Lasts for days as a leftover.
