2 lbs frozen hashbrowns
1 small diced onion
2 c. shredded cheese
1/2 stick margarine (melted)
1 can cream of chicken soup (or mushroom)
2 c. sour cream
2 c. semi-crushed cornflakes (approx.)

Thaw hashbrowns. Mix everything except cornflakes. Place in greased 9x11 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Melt 2 tbsp. of margarine and mix with cornflakes. Add as top layer. Bake 15 more minutes.
