     Anderson Pound Cake

3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
8 oz sourcream
6 eggs
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Grease and flour tube cake pan. Cream buter and sugar. Sift flour and baking soda at least 2 times. Separate eggs and beat yolks, add to sugar and butter. Mix well, add flour and sourcream alternately. Add vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Fold into mixture. Pour into tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Do not use an icing, serve as is.
