1 pound can whole tomatoes, diced (reserve liquid)
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) cheddar cheese, small cubes
Instructions
Prepare macaroni and drain. Brown ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic. Drain excess fat. Stir in tomatoes with reserve liquid, basil, thyme salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in macaroni and half of cheddar cheese; mix well.
Turn into 2-quart casserole. Cover top with remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
