26 oz can condensed tomato sop
|
|
small onion, chopped
|
|
2 16 oz cans chopped tomatoes
|
|
1 quart half and half
|
|
1 tbsp garlic powder
|
|
2 tbsp basil
|
|
1 1/2 tsp orton's nature's seasoning
|
|
8 oz cream cheese
|
|
mozarella cheese
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Saute onion in 1/2 stick butter. Add all other ingredients and heat to a simmer. Cut large brick of cream cheese into small pieces and add to soup.

Simmer for 20-30 minutes
|
|
|
To serve, ladle into bowls,top with shredded mozzarella cheese and croutons.
|
|
|
To make low fat - use skim milk and lowfat versions of cream and mozarella cheese.
