     Tomato Basil Soup

Preptime   45 minutes

Ingredients
2 cans 28oz whole tomatoes-crushed
2 Tlb. Italian Seasoning
2 cups milk (can use Heavy cream but it's fine with 2% milk)
1/4 pound butter (More if you want it rich, less if you want less fat)
Salt and Pepper to taste
 

Instructions
Simmer tomatoes in sauce pan for 30 minutes.
Puree, in small batches in blender or food processor, or use hand blender.
Return to Saucepan and add milk and butter, while stirring over low heat.
