Gradually add the sugar to the cream cheese, blending until smooth. Beat the eggs slightly, add the milk and vanilla. Slowly add to the cheese mixture, stirring until will blended.
Pour into the pie shell which has been baked in a hot oven, 425 degrees for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake in moderate oven-350 degrees for 25 minutes.
