Saute onion over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes. In small bowl whisk together egg, milk, worcestershire and soy sauce.
In another large bowl combine bead crumbs, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, pepper and ground mustard. Add egg mixture to this and stir to combine. Stir in ground meat and sauteed onions until incorporated.
Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Mixture will be sticky. (This is where I added a little more bread crumb.) Shaping patties between waxed paper works well.
Refrigerate at least 20 minutes before cooking. At this point patties can be wrapped and frozen for later. Cook patties about 4 to 6 minutes on each side. Serve with mayo, avocado, tomato, lettuce and red onion. 347 calories each, 9 grams of fat.
