     Granola

Ingredients
4 cups large flake oatmeal (1 l)
1 cup sliced almonds (250 ml)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds (125 ml)
1/2 cup wheat germ (125 ml)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar (125 ml)
1/3 cup honey (75 ml)
rind & juice of 1 lemon
rind & juice of 1 orange
 
2 cups finely chopped dried fruit (500 ml)

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine iatmeal, almonds, sunflower seeds, wheat germ and cinnamon.
In a saucepan combine brown sugar and honey and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add lemon and orange juice and rind. Toss liquid mixture with dry mixture.
Spray a large, edged baking sheet with cooking spray. Spread with granola an bake at 300 degrees (150) for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until golden brown. Cool. Add dried fruit and store in airtight container.
