     Nana Keller's Lasagna

Ingredients
2 Qts Ricotta (potted cheese)
salt and pepper
parsley
3- 5 eggs
1 1/4 lb cooked lasagna noodles
3 lbs mozarella cheese
1 lb hot italian sausage, cooked and drained
 
3 lbs ground beef, cooked and drained
2 large cans tomato puree
3 small cans tomato paste
Italian seasoning (secret seasonings)
4 cloves garlic, crushed

Instructions
Combine all sauce ingredients (sausage, beef, tomato puree, tomato sauce, seasonings, and garlic) and let simmer one hour.
Combine potted cheese, eggs, salt, pepper and parsley.
Pour some sauce on bottom of lasagna or baking pan. Spread lasagna noodles to cover. Spread pot cheese mixture, then mozzarella cheese, then sauce. Repeat until all is layered in pan. Top with cheese and sauce.
Bake in a 350 oven for a couple of hours or until thoroughly baked through.
Serving Suggestions
serve with garlic bread and caesar salad
