     Grandma's Egg and Bacon Casserole

Ingredients
8 slices of bread, spread with butter
6 eggs
cooked bacon, sausage or ham
2 and 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
2 and 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon mustard (1/4 teaspoon for dry mustard)
 

Instructions
Spray a 9 x 13 casserole with Pam. Lay buttered bread on bottom of dish, butter side up. Sprinkle 1/2 the cooked meat on top of buttered bread. Then sprinkle with 1/2 the cheese.
Mix eggs, milk, salt and mustard. Pour on top of bread, meat and cheese. Sprinkle remaining meat and cheese on top of egg mixture.
Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight. Cook for 45 minutes at 325 degrees with no cover. Check the middle for doneness. May need more cook time. Can be made ahead and frozen to use later.
